Switching to AhlanHamad: we move you, you approve
Send us what you have — a spreadsheet, an export from your current system, last month's bank salary file. Our team sets up your company, brings every employee across with their balances, and runs your last pay period side by side with your old payroll so you see every difference before you switch. You approve each step. There is no setup fee.

The three-week plan
We plan backwards from your next pay date, so your first payroll on AhlanHamad is one you have already checked.
Week 1
Kickoff and files
- Kickoff call: your countries, pay dates, leave policies and how you pay salaries today.
- We send you a secure upload link. It expires on its own and we can revoke it at any time.
- You upload your employee list, your last payroll register or bank salary file, and your leave and loan records.
Week 2
We set up your company
- Our team builds your company on AhlanHamad under a separate setup account, so nothing touches your own login.
- Every employee comes across with their salary and allowances, bank details, IDs and document expiry dates.
- Opening balances come with them: leave, sick leave already used, loans and advances still being repaid, and amounts still owed.
- End-of-service keeps counting from each employee's original start date — it never resets because you changed systems.
Week 3
Side-by-side check, then go live
- We run your last pay period through AhlanHamad and compare it with your old payroll, employee by employee — matched on ID, then IBAN, then name.
- You see only the differences, each one explained, and we fix any that come from set-up.
- When you're satisfied, we hand the company over to you as owner and the setup account is closed.
- You run your first payroll on AhlanHamad, with us on hand.
What our team can't do during set-up
While our team is working in your company, the decisions stay yours. The system blocks us from:
- finalising a payroll or marking it paid
- deleting a finalised payroll run
- approving or applying payroll corrections
- starting or deciding a termination, or offboarding anyone
What comes across
- Employees, departments and job titles in Arabic and English
- Salary, housing, transport, food and other allowances
- IBANs and wage-file details
- Civil ID, passport and work-permit numbers and expiry dates
- Social-insurance registered wages and national status
- Leave and sick-leave balances
- Loans and advances with their monthly deductions
- Unpaid amounts carried into your first payroll
- End-of-service start dates and amounts accrued to date
We work from your exports and files — AhlanHamad does not connect to your current system. If something isn't in your files, we ask you rather than guess.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a fee for the switch?
No. There is no setup or migration fee — you pay your normal subscription from the day it starts.
Can I switch mid-year?
Yes. What matters in the GCC is continuity: leave balances, loans and amounts owed carried over, and end-of-service counted from the original start date. All of that comes with you.
Do I keep my old system running while we switch?
Yes, until you approve the side-by-side check. We compare your last pay period with what AhlanHamad produces before you turn the old system off.
Who can see the files I upload?
Only our setup team. The upload link is unique to your company, expires on its own and can be revoked at any time.
What if we operate in more than one GCC country?
We set up each country with its own rules — social insurance, the wage file and end-of-service — inside the same plan.
Does it always take three weeks?
Three weeks is our standard plan, timed to your pay date. Small teams with tidy files can be faster; if we need longer, we tell you early.
