AhlanHamad × Google Workspace
When someone leaves, their Google account is suspended at the end of their last day, without anyone remembering to do it. If you want, new hires get an account too.

- Built, and tested only against a simulated Google Admin API. It hasn't run in a real Workspace yet.
- What you need
- Google Workspace, a service account with domain-wide delegation set up by your Google admin (AhlanHamad shows the steps), and a company admin in AhlanHamad.
What it does
- Suspend on exit: when an employee leaves, their linked Google account is suspended at the end of the termination day, in your company's time zone.
- Rehire: the account is reactivated, and a suspension still waiting is cancelled.
- New-hire accounts, off by default: each new hire gets an address from a pattern you choose, in the organisational unit mapped to their department. A one-time password goes to the manager or HR and is never stored.
- Link existing users: matched by email, then by similar names, and nothing is linked until an admin confirms.
- If Google refuses the credentials, the queue pauses and the CEO and HR admins are told. Every change is in the audit log.
How it works
- Connect Google Workspace from Integrations in AhlanHamad with your own service account.
- Link your existing Google users to employees, and decide whether new hires should get accounts.
- Record exits as usual in AhlanHamad. The Activity tab lists each change.
What it doesn't do
- It never deletes Google accounts. Deletion stays with you, in Google Admin.
- It doesn't touch Google users who aren't linked to an employee, and doesn't manage groups, aliases or licences.
- It doesn't sync profile changes, such as job title or department, after an account is created.
Questions
Will it delete a leaver's mailbox?
No. It suspends the account and nothing more. Whether and when to delete is your decision, made in Google Admin.
Do new hires get accounts automatically?
Only if you turn it on. New-hire accounts are off by default.
When will it be available?
There is no date yet. Book a short call and tell us you use Google Workspace, and we'll let you know when it opens.
