AhlanHamad × Qoyod
Finalize a payroll run in AhlanHamad and it reaches your Qoyod account as one summarised journal entry, mapped once to your own chart of accounts.

- Built, and tested only against a simulated Qoyod API. It has not posted to a real Qoyod account yet.
- What you need
- A Qoyod account and its API key, and a company admin in AhlanHamad to connect it and map the accounts.
What it does
- Payroll accrual: when a run is finalized, one journal entry with a line per account — salaries and allowances, employer social insurance, and the payables they create.
- Salary payment and bank charges: when the run is marked paid, a payment entry follows; recorded bank transfer charges get their own entry.
- End of service: each month's end-of-service accrual posts as its own entry.
- Saudi riyal books: Qoyod books are taken to be in SAR, so a run in another currency (Kuwaiti dinars, for example) is held unless you allow conversion at AhlanHamad's daily rate. The rate used is written on the entry.
- A new API key is treated as a different account: posting waits until you confirm the account mapping again.
- Corrections are new entries, never edits: when a payroll entry is reversed in AhlanHamad, for example when a run is deleted, the reversal posts as its own entry.
How it works
- Connect Qoyod from Integrations in AhlanHamad with your Qoyod API key.
- Map each payroll account to a Qoyod account, once. An entry is held until every account it uses is mapped.
- Run payroll as usual. The payroll run page shows each entry's status, and why one is held or failed.
What it doesn't do
- No per-employee entries. Names, IDs and individual salaries stay in AhlanHamad; Qoyod receives totals per account.
- It creates journal entries only: no employees, payslips or invoices in Qoyod, and no government filings.
Questions
Does it read my Qoyod account's currency?
No. Qoyod's API offers no way to read it, so the books are taken to be in Saudi riyals. A run in any other currency waits for you to allow conversion.
Does Qoyod see each employee's salary?
No. Each entry has one line per payroll account with the run's total for that account. Individual pay stays in AhlanHamad.
When will it be available?
